Connersville native, Anna F. Bolin, 82, died peacefully, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Carolton Healthcare Center.
The only daughter of Terrill Lunsford and Elizabeth Tudor Lunsford Buss, Anna, was born on August 3, 1943. She attended Connersville Highschool and furthered her education at IvyTech Community College. When she was younger, Anna was employed at City Restaurant which her mother and aunt owned. In the 70’s and 80’s, she worked in Indianapolis for the BMV and later was employed at several area factories including D & M, WCI, and Ford prior to receiving her CNA license. In the 90’s Anna earned her GED, took computer classes, and pursued her Qualified Medical Assistant certification while working for the Richmond State Hospital. She earned a well-deserved retirement in 2002. An avid reader, Anna adored Nicholas Sparks’ books. She also had quite the collection of 45’s from her childhood. In addition, Anna enjoyed watching old TV westerns and listening to Elvis. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable, and they were always on her mind. Her family will miss her dearly but find comfort knowing she is at peace.
Anna is survived by her sons: Dean Bolin and Boyd Lunsford; daughter: Danyelle (Bolin) Boggs; five grandchildren: Coty, Hayley, Hannah, Nicole, Dustin; four-great-grandchildren; several generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her only brother Autry Lunsford in 2009.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery in Milton. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service.
