Bonnie Lou West

Bonnie Lou West, 81, of Loveland, Ohio died peacefully on December 17, 2025, in Connersville, Indiana.

The daughter of Albert and Grace Baker Bishop, Bonnie was born on February 23, 1944 at her home in Kings Mills, Ohio. She was employed at Lazarus which later became Macy’s as the accountant for many years. Bonnie married Robert West on August 3, 2009; together they shared ten years of marriage prior to his death. When Bonnie wasn’t working, she was tending to the needs of her children and keeping a comfortable home. A woman of faith, Bonnie attended the Mason Church of God as well as the South Lebanon Pentecostal Church. Since she was a little girl, Bonnie has been an avid doll collector. Over the years she has amassed over 1,000 rare dolls in her collection. In addition, Bonnie enjoyed shopping for Vera Bradley purses and rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. Above all, she adored spending her time with those she loved and listening to her favorite song, House of the Rising Sun by the Animals. Bonnie will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Jerald Lee Crosson Jr., Janay Lanett Trumble, Janssen Loren Crosson and his Fiance Mavis Jones, Jayalbert Ladon Crosson, Branden Shawn Crosson; brother: Eddie Albert Bishop; Eleven grandchildren; Seventeen great-grandchildren; very best friends until the end: Carolyn Tucker; First cousin and best friend: Sue Bishop Brown; extended daughter: Susan Duvall; several nieces nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband Robert, Bonnie is preceded in death by her stillborn son: Kevin Crosson; son: Daniel Wentz Molen; daughter: Jettina Lynn Hamilton; sister: Emma Mae Bishop McKinney; brother: Donald Gene Bishop. 

A very special thank you to Mikaela, Dakota, Jonathan and Micheal Wright for the comfort and care they gave Grandma Bonnie in her final days. Bonnie has graciously donated her body to science, therefore a private family burial will be conducted at the convience of her family.
