Cynthia Pauline Jordan

Connersville native Cynthia Pauline Jordan, 72, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Reid Health in Richmond.

Born on December 16, 1953, Cindy was the daughter of Ovie E. and Janet K. May Jordan. She graduated from Connersville High School and furthered her education receiving her certification as an LPN. Cindy was proud to be an LPN and truly cared for her patients.

Cindy enjoyed the simple things in life and knew how to have fun! She had an onery sense of humor and never shied from sharing it with those around her. Her humor and peaceful loving nature drew people to her, and her stories kept them around. Cindy was an exceptional artist who had a passion for horses, and enjoyed good music, especially the Beatles. More than anything, she adored spending time with her grandchildren and family – they were her whole world. Cindy’s presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her daughter: Serra M. Jordan; brother: David and Eunice Jordan; sister: Lisa and Mike Pfenninger; grandchildren: Michael and Adry Thomas, Lilly Webb, Gage Jordan, Kerstin Jordan; great-grandchildren: Maggie Jordan, Briar Jordan; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by her son: Michael Edmund Jordan; sister: Sherri Robinson; grandson: Matthew Jordan; great-grandson: Oliver Thomas; nephew: Christopher Jordan.

The memorial service for Cindy will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Friends and family may gather from 3:00 p.m., until the time of service. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Orange North cemetery at the convenience of her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset the cost of services.
