Liberty resident, Edna Ann Logan, 86, died peacefully Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Edward and Anna Louise Buckman Mathis, Edna was born on October 1, 1939, in McCracken, Kentucky. She attended and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy. Edna was employed with Residential CRF as a home health aide for many years prior to her retirement. She met Charles Logan at work, and the two were married on May 9, 1988. Edna was a simple woman with a heart of gold. She loved to cook and gladly fed anyone or anything that showed up at her door. Edna was a very loving mother and grandmother, and she was so proud of each one of them. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband of thirty-seven years, Chuck, Edna is survived by her children and their spouses: Jay and Lisa Martin, James Paul and Luann Burns, Abby Day, Allan Burns, Frank Barksdale; Fifteen grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren; Sister: Linda Reynolds; Brother: Jimmy Mathis; several nieces, nephews, friends and pets.

In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her daughter: Natalie Ann Martin; grandsons: Kyle Burns, Zeb Martin; brothers: Jerry Mathis, Charlie Mathis; several pets.

At Edna’s request no public services will be conducted. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
