Betty Jean (Crane) Waddell was born on February 20, 1934. She grew up in Liberty on Fosdick Road. She married the love of her life Glenden Waddell at Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church, together they shared many years of love and marriage prior to Betty's death on March 11, 2018.
Glenden Waddell was born on December 17, 1932 and grew up around Roseburg on Scratch gravel road. His parents had 12 children total, including 3 sets of twins, and Glenden was one of them. He alongside his twin bother, were record holders in cross country at College Corner Highschool and are recognized in the Preble County Hall of Fame. Glenden was reunited with Betty on April 18 2025.
A celebration of life for Betty and Glenden will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty with Pastor Charlie Black of Edwards Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at West Point Cemetery. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 11:00a.m., until the time of service.
