Julida "Judy" Harris

Julida “Judy” Harris, 81, of Connersville, died Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.

One of thirteen children, Judy was born to Forester and Lucy Annie Barger Spurlock on February 4, 1945, in Oneida, Kentucky. On September 10, 1967, Judy married Herman Harris; together they were able to spend forty-four years together until his death in 2011. Judy was employed at Visteon in Connersville for over forty years. She loved to shop and enjoyed reading.

Judy is survived by her siblings and their spouses: Evelyn Spurlock, Larry Spurlock, and his wife Nancy; Lonnie Spurlock, and his wife Rita; Patricia Hensley; Joyce Lainhart and her husband Tim; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Forester and Lucy Annie Barger Spurlock, husband Herman Harris, and her siblings: Irene Davidson, Sophia Hensley, John L. Spurlock, Mary Hoskins, Gerald Spurlock, Forster Spurlock, Jr., and Paula Bowling.

A graveside service will follow in the Irving Hill Cemetery in Oneida, at 11:00 a.m., on October 20, 2026. Memorial contributions may be made to The Pentecostal Faith Church located at 30 Cain Ave, Hamilton OH 45011.
