Kennedy Rutherford

Kennedy Rutherford, 15, of Liberty passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 with her loving mother by her side.

The daughter of Ashley Ramsey, Kennedy was born on November 13, 2009. She was an 8th grade student at Union County Middle School. Kennedy had many interests from playing with bubbles, using her Ipad, listening to nursery rhymes, to doing arts and crafts. In addition, she enjoyed running and playing outside. Kennedy never met a puddle she didn’t want to jump in! Above all, she loved her family especially her brother Jaxson, who was her biggest protector. Kennedy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, classmates, and community who love her dearly.

A private Celebration of Kennedy’s life will be conducted at the convenience of her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Jaxson Rutherford as part of a scholarship fund in c/o Bath State Bank in Kennedy’s honor.
