Nila Anita Vest Seals

Nila Anita Vest Seals, 85, of Liberty died Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Heritage House in Connersville.

The daughter of Edward and Ernesta Wilt Vest, Nila was born on July 8, 1941, in Connersville. She married Robert “Bob” G. Seals on January 19, 1988. Nila was a QMA at the nursing home in Liberty for many years. Later she was employed in housekeeping at Miami University until her retirement. Nila was a member of Baptist Bible Believers in Liberty. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and spending time with those she loved.

Nila is survived by her children and their spouses: Wade and Lynn Moore, Melanie Allen, Darrin and Marie Moore, Jobie Moore, Jason Moore; grandchildren: Brandy and Jason Phillips, Tyler Moore, Travis Moore, Andrew Harsh, Dylan Harsh, Missy Morales; thirteen-great grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband of twenty-eight years, Bob, Nila is preceded in death by her grandson: Richard Elbert Harsh; sisters: Veorda Vest Coleman, Arveedus Wilson, and Carol Vest Williamson; brother: Liburn Vest.

At Nila’s request a private graveside service at Dunlapsville Cemetery will be conducted at the convenience of her family.
