Nina Gale Lynch, 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio died peacefully in her home on December 10, 2025.
Nina was born in Connersville, Indiana on August 19, 1955, to William C. and Bernice Hollandsworth Lynch. She graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1968. Nina’s passion for dancing was apparent when she was younger. She belonged to a dance group, and she received ten trophies for her participation in the routines. Nina was employed at Goodwill. She greatly enjoyed the Empowered Community Services Day program and going to church at Groesbeck Church of Christ. Nina had an exceptional memory and was able to recall every birthday, anniversary, address, and phone number for everyone she knew. She was an avid photo collector with over 1,000 physical pictures of people she loved. Nina also enjoyed sending and receiving cards in the mail, and emails on her tablet. More than anything, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Especially, babysitting her baby cousin, Aria, and hanging out with her cousin Debbie, whom she shared a special bond with. Nina’s smile and love for others will be greatly missed by all who know and love her.
Nina is survived by her uncle: Larry Hollandsworth and his wife, Laurie; niece: Ashley Way; great-nephews: Zavier, Gabriel, and Noah; cousins and their spouses: R.J. Maher, Brenda Miller, Debbie Adams, Larry Hollandsworth and Sonya, Tammy King and Eddie, Deedee Banks and Paul, Matthew Ebert and Shayna, Shannon Ebert, and Robert Eldridge II; many special friends including: Sammy Maher; many extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Nina is preceded in death by her brother: Colin Ray Lynch; cousins: Darlene Short and Denise Eldridge.
The funeral for Nina will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Nina will be laid to rest with her family at Union Cemetery Garden of Memories. Friends and family may gather from 12:00 p.m., until the time of service.
