Susan Kay Floyd Frasur, 78, of Liberty died peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond.
The daughter of the late Harold R. “Pinky” and Esther J. “Sis” Lutz Floyd, Susan was born on February 27, 1947. She graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1965. She was employed with Stant Manufacturing for more than forty-four years prior to her retirement. Susan was a faithful member of Edwards Memorial United Methodist. In her spare time, she enjoyed researching her family history and exploring ancestry. In addition, Susan adored going out to eat with her friends from the church, or with anyone willing to go. She found comfort in her dogs and best friends, Minnie and Holly. Susan liked to travel. Her favorite trip was in 1999 when she took her mother to Hawaii. Above all else, Susan loved watching her grandchildren play sports, especially basketball and softball. She will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.
Susan is survived by her sons and their spouses: Shayne and Julie Frasur, Tyson and Lemira Frasur, Erick and Wanda Frasur; daughters and their spouses: Stephanne and Kent Flint, Heather and Hank Brock, Megan and Greg Meier, Shaelyn and Johnny Biggerstaff; sister: Sally Mitchell of Connersville; grandchildren: Morgan Davis, Blake Frasur, Kayla Brock, Matt Frasur, Kelsee Brock, Derrick Frasur, Alyssa Flint, Keaton Flint, Ethan Frasur, Kamryn Brock, Hunter Biggerstaff, Kadence Brock, Bryant Flint, Chloe Meier, Brooklyn Biggerstaff, Campbell Meier, Wendy Klein, Ciera Miller, Toni Miller, Tiphney Jones, Josh Jones, Levi Lee, Alexa Voleps, Victoria McCowan; many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her parents Pinky and Sis, Susan is preceded in death by her brothers: Ronald D. and Jerry R. Floyd; brother-in-law: Dallas Mitchell.
Visitation for family and friends will be conducted from 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Edwards Memorial United Methodist, 4 W. Seminary St. Liberty, Indiana 47353, with Pastor Charlie Black officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery, Section F, in Connersville. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in Susan’s honor.
