Tara L. Broyles, 47, also known as “Weezer” and “Picky Pooh” died surrounded by love on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
The daughter of Steven Broyles and Sherry Scott, Tara was born in Connersville on July 26, 1978. She graduated from CHS in 1996 and was employed locally as a health care aid. Tara surrounded herself with her favorite people, her circle. Together the circle took road trips, attended concerts, and shared countless laughs. Whatever shenanigans the circle found themselves in, Tara was always along for the ride! She was an environmentalist at heart, who enjoyed sponsoring animals or planting trees. Tara adored the Wizard of Oz and just like Dorothy, she knew- there was no place like home. Tara’s bright light will continue to shine as her family, and friends remember the free spirit and selfless person that she was. Tara graciously helped many people with her gift of organ donation. Her outgoing personality and infectious smile will be missed by all who know and love her.
In addition to her parents Steven and Sherry, Tara is survived by her maternal family, Grammy: Anita L. Scott; uncle: Eric Scott; aunt: Stephanie Boggs; Paternal Family, uncles and their spouses: Chuck Broyles, Jimmy and Linda Broyles, Michael Broyles; aunt: Becky Broyles; brother: Ronald Gaddis; The Circle; fur babies: Ozzie and Lily; several cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Tara is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; paternal grandparents; cousin whom she was very close: Scott Broyles; uncles: David and William “Bill” Broyles.
