Virginia "Jenny" Lee Robinson

Virginia “Jenny” Lee Robinson, 83, of Connersville died peacefully on August 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Jenny was born on December 5, 1941, to Ellsworth Pershing Hahn and Dorothy Booher Sturgis in Connersville. She graduated from Connersville Senior High with the class of 1960. Jenny was employed with HH Robertson and later worked at Hallmark for many years prior to her retirement. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. Jenny adored spending her time with her family. She shared a special bond with her sisters, and she absolutely loved being a mother and later, a grandmother. Jenny was an accomplished seamstress, who made all of her children’s clothes during their younger years and joyfully made hundreds of alterations for other people. In addition, she enjoyed trips to the casino and collecting and completing 1000+ piece puzzles. Jenny will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.

Jenny is survived by her children and their spouses: Sherry and Ed Keller, Robert and Michele Robinson, David and Margene Robinson, Terri and Roger Neukam; grandchildren: Michael and Ashley Eversole, Myra Robinson, Bridget Robinson, Luke and Kandice Keller, Logan and Felicity Keller, Ethan Robinson, Ashley Robinson, Alexis Robinson; great-grandchildren: Jayden, Kingsley, Emma, Raylan, Addy, Carson, Rogan, Miller; sister: Connie and Jon Haselby; several cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jenny is preceded in death by her stepdad: Paul L. Sturgis; brothers: Ronald Hahn, Jackie Hahn; sisters: Diana and Brad Waddell, Viola Hahn Wheeler.

A Celebration of Jenny’s life will be conducted at 1:00p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Friends and family may gather at the church from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Cancer Society in Jenny’s honor. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville has been trusted with arrangements.
