Wilma Bowling

Wilma Bowling, 90, of Connersville died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Hickory Creek in Connersville.

A Kentucky native, Wilma was born on May 2nd, 1936, to Ben C. and Ella Mae McKinney Osborne. Wilma was married on August 16th, 1957, in Hyden, Kentucky to Marshel Bowling, who died July 13th, 2016. Wilma attended the Connersville Church of Christ and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her children and their spouses: James Craig and Julie; Yvonne and Eric; her siblings and their spouses: Janice and Ross, Grace; seven grandchildren: Douglas, J. Lyndsy, Megan, Paige, Trevor, Natalie and Jarrett; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and one on the way in July; daughter-in-law: Candace; several nieces, nephews and in laws.

In addition to her parents and her husband of fifty-nine years, Wilma is preceded in death by her son: Jeffrey Bowling; siblings, Alex, Mildred, Dennis, James, and Herman.

A private graveside service at Columbia Cemetery will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home has been entrusted with Wilma’s arrangements.
